Rating : Cliched movie. Meant only for hardcore fans of typical romcom's
Director : Will Gluck (Fired Up!, Easy A)
Cast : Mila Kunis (That 70's Show, Black Swan), Justin Timberlake (Social Network, In Time)
Story : Boy Meets Girl, Boy and Girl agree to have no strings attached (no pun intended) sex. Boy and Girl fall in love. Unnecessary complications arise. Boy and Girl end up happily together.
Review : The film starts of as making fun of the typical Romcom's Hollywood has been dishing out. Its much more raunchier than regular movies and with some smarter dialogues and scenarios than expected in such movies. However it then starts heading in the same direction as the movies it makes fun of. It is at this point that the movie becomes extremely predictable. The side characters and scenarios are absolute cliches. I don't know if this was intentional or not but it doesn't help the movie much as you can see where every scene is heading.
This is disappointing considering the same director gave us Easy A. One of the freshest and original teenage movie in recent years. Sadly here as the movie keeps progressing your interest level goes on decreasing.
The lead pair looks good together and has wonderful chemistry but their acting abilities are not really tested much here.
Overall only for hardcore fans of romcom's. That too if you don't mind being able to predict every single scene.
