Story : So Loki is back. He steals the Tesseract (seen in Captain America) to unleash an army upon earth and destroy it. It is up to the Avengers to work together and get over their differences if Earth has to stand a chance.
Review :This is an all out absolute mind blowing entertainment movie. When you have some of the mightiest superheros come together you expect a lot of action and the Avengers does not disappoint on that front. But what director Joss Whedon has done beautifully is mix that action with some very perfectly timed comic moments and some very smartly written dialogues
The cast is in top form especially Iron Man and Hulk. Robert Downey Jr. has the best dialogues while Mark Ruffalo puts in a fine performance as Bruce Banner and when the Hulk is finally unleashed, it is pure thrill.
These two are ably supported by the rest of the Avengers but they seem sidelined a bit.
Overall very good movie not made to tax your grey matter bu to juts sit back and enjoy the ride.
