Grown Ups (2010)

Rating : Meandering, aimless movie. Very few laughs

Director : Dennis Dugan (I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry, You don't mess with the Zohan)

Cast : Adam Sandler (Happy Gilmore, Funny People), Salma Hayek (Desperado, Frida), Kevin James (Hitch, Zookeper), Chris Rock (The Longest Yard, Madagascar series - Marty)

Story: After their high school coach passes away, five friends reunite on a weekend along with their families. Each have their own family problems but over the weekend they discover the child within them and also connect with their films.

Review : This movie has also the usual suspects of an Adam Sandler movie. The director, the cast etc. Unfortunately it seems as nobody had a clue as to what they want to do. They just turned up on the sets and decided to whatever the cast did among themselves.

Though they manage to create some funny situations they are too few and far in between. Most of the time though nothing happens and the audience will keep staring at the screen blankly.

Just like any Adam Sandler movie there are a few gross situations and jokes. Unfortunately they are dragged far too long in the film and were not even funny to begin with.

Overall a movie you can easily miss as there is nothing in it for Grown ups nor for kids
